They’ve thoroughly vetted them, checked referrals and they KNOW they’ve been effective in other businesses.

Most people always assume something has gone awry with the hire, but with a little digging, I always uncover some version of a system problem in these businesses.
There are three key systems that business owners often overlook when building teams. The good news is they’re really simple fixes!
1️⃣ Communication System – The MOST important system for your team. This is the system that keeps you from wondering what’s been done at the end of the day and prevents good team members from “ghosting” you.
(Hint: this is SUPER important with offshore hires)
2️⃣ Task Delegation System – A good task delegation system keeps your entire team on task, clarifies priorities, and gives you a good visual of exactly what’s happening in your business. Build this with intention!
3️⃣ SOP System – This is more than just a bunch of written-out processes. You need to clarify how your team is to complete SOPs when they need to be completed/updated and who will be taking responsibility for the process.
This is the key to your business being automated and sounding like you, even when it’s not you.
So before you write off another bad hire, or decide it’s just easier to “do it yourself,” build out the team systems in your business.
